Description
“Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now! There are only so many tomorrows.”
– Pope Paul VI, Italian Pope (1897 – 1978).
“… almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”
– Steve Jobs, American Entrepreneur, Apple co-Founder (b.1955).
This workshop will give you simple, powerful exercises, experiments, and ponderings to bring you face to face with the mystery of death in your life. What is it? Where is it? Why is everyone trying to hide it in caskets and funeral homes?
You’ll find yourself asking the question, “What do I know about death with 100% certainty?” And from there, your journey begins.
Death has been a close companion in the lives of many, although some people manage to keep it’s direct influence out of their lives for longer than others. In my own life, death has been hovering present for almost as long as I can remember.
The entire point of this workshop is to help you get a deeper understanding of death, and to transcend the fear and mystery around it.
See you on the other side.
